KCC ( Kisan Credit Cards) are the loans given to farmers for a short duration i.e. Less than 1 year.To meet short-term credit requirements for cultivation of crops, Post-harvest expenses, Consumption requirements of farmers, etc. All Farmers – Individuals / Joint borrowers who are owner cultivators,Tenant
farmers, oral lessees (Rights on land belonging to others) & share croppers.

This loan is given in the form of an Overdraft facility. The KCC limits are given for five years subject to annual renewal by banks.
Indian government provided interest subvention on KCC if the loan amount is less than 3 Lakhs.
